Join the Alzheimer’s Walk on June 9th in the San Fernando Valley!

The 3rd annual Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s™ in the San Fernando Valley is Sunday, June 9th at Woodley Park in Van Nuys (6350 Woodley Ave., Van Nuys, 91436). Residents and businesses from throughout the Valley and greater Los Angeles will raise awareness and funds to fight Alzheimer’s disease. In addition to the 5K route, Walk to End Alzheimer’s will include entertainment, food, awards and a family festival. Walkers who raise $100 receive a commemorative T-shirt, and there are prizes for top fund-raising teams and individuals.

 Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Donations benefit the Alzheimer’s Association – the leading voluntary health organization for Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Its mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
